Introducing…NEON POP!

Neon against a black background is such a stunning combination!  I have to tell you after I finished this room, I wanted this collection so bad for next year!  Since I love bright colors, I knew that this would be a color palette that I would never get tired of.  It coordinates with just about everything and just looks AMAZING!

This collection is all about COLOR!  The patterns were kept to a minimum, so the solid, bright colors would POP against the background.  I used a pretty script font on the pieces to give this room a flirty flair!

I HAD to include this awesome, new striped border from Creative Teaching Press!  I mimicked the stripes throughout the design with striped lanterns from Oriental Trading, along with vases and boxes to hold the coordinating cutouts. Black and white stripes are practically everywhere in the decor world.  Adding this dramatic stripe is a great way to take a super cute theme and add an ultra trendy twist to it!

These “Bright Idea” pencils were actually the inspiration for the colors in this collection!

I wanted to create a collection that was versatile.  Designing a more sophisticated space would be easy with the pretty, simple printables….

OR you could add the pop culture cutouts for a completely different look!

I love the simple dot pattern that repeats in the alphabet lines, the number line, and the name tags and nameplates.  Something so simple can actually create a lot of impact in a space.

I have to tell you, my own children went CRAZY over this room!  I have a first grader and a second grader…all of these cutouts are everything they LOVE!  When I was finished with the photo shoot, most of the printables came down and ended up in their bedrooms!  This is when I knew that I “hit the nail on the head” with a design geared around kids and adolescents.  These images are familiar, fun, and SUPER trendy!

Pineapples are HOT HOT HOT right now!  Create a space with just the pineapples OR add a few here and there, along with all of the other popular cutouts to choose from.

I found these gorgeous flowers at Pier 1 this season.  Everywhere you look, you will find black and white stripes…this is another on-trend element added in this room.

The chalkboard jars are from Oriental Trading…

along with the striped popcorn boxes used to display the cutouts.

Shopping for coordinating items was very easy.  Neon accessories are everywhere!  I actually pulled several items from my Confetti Crush classroom and everything matched.  Poppin accessories (sold at Staples) also go nicely with most of my themes.  I love the rainbow of colors offered in their products.

All of my collections are now created in Power Point for easy editing!  Editing this banner was simple – just choose your favorite font and you can customize the pieces to fit your needs.

The neon storage baskets and bins are from Oriental Trading.  If you haven’t stopped by the Oriental Trading website lately, you will be surprised at what you see.  They sell so many amazing products for teachers now.  In fact, everything you need for school, including crayons, glue, and paper can be purchased at Oriental Trading.  They have turned into a one-stop shopping site for the classroom!

The cutouts are perfect to accent your room.  You can easily enlarge any of the pieces at your local print shop to create some major impact in your space!

How fun are these unicorns?!?  This was my photographer, E’Lisa’s, favorite part of this room!  She went crazy over them when she walked in to my photo shoot room!  I have to tell you, when you first see this collection pulled together, it was the most striking space you’ve ever seen!

I have to admit, I was a little worried about adding the poop emoji.  Personally, I think it’s hilarious and I would put it in my room in a heartbeat, however, not everyone has my sense of humor.  I talked to my friend about this and she told me that she knows of a teacher that actually has a poop classroom!  I don’t know…call me weird, but I think that could be kind of FUN!  So, I’ve included the poop.  Take it or leave it.

As I mentioned earlier, my kids couldn’t wait to come into this room and start taking everything for their bedrooms!  The one thing that they were both fighting over…the poop.

I also created bright stars to go with this theme.  Stars are still a favorite theme choice among teachers.  This collection gives you the option of creating a one-of-a-kind star classroom theme.  If you just want a pineapple room, you can do that.  If you just want a room with emojis…you can do that too!  There are so many different ways you can style this room!

This collection also includes a new product…a birthday bulletin board set!  I was seriously drooling over those white cakes with neon candles!  The set includes TWO large birthday cakes to choose, two cake stands, several balloons, a Happy Birthday banner, and an “Oh Happy Day! confetti balloon.

A “Just Teach” collection in neon colors is currently in the works.  You will have about 30 more classroom products to choose from that will coordinate beautifully with your room!  Purchase the entire package or individual pieces to meet your needs.  Check back soon to see all of the new goodies in the Schoolgirl Style Shop!

The beautiful classroom pictures are from E’Lisa Campbell from E.C. Campbell Photography in Clarkston, Michigan.
