Cute Classroom Inspiration–Teri Smith

This entry stuck in my mind FOREVER because it was so unique!   This particular entry is from Teri Smith.  Teri isn’t a classroom teacher, but a Speech Therapist at multiple elementary schools.  Teri has one main office at Woods Elementary in Clovis, CA.  She has students in grades Pre-K through 6th grade.  Teri made the decision to decorate her office space in my Pirate Theme collection.  Pirates are the perfect décor for such a wide range of children!

I love how even a small space can be transformed into something spectacular!  Check out her photos!

Teri used my multipurpose labels, pirate flag, nameplates,  scalloped tags, and pennants to create an awesome environment for her speech students!

Teri proves that even tiny spaces can be transformed into dreamy spaces for children!  I bet her students LOVE this!

Thank you so much for this post! I’m also decorating a room that isn’t a conventional “classroom,” and I was wondering what to do about the lack of bulletin boards…did she buy one, or did she make her own?

This is a fabulous idea. I’m an SLP as well and am thinking of using a pirate theme this year. Great ideas. Thanks so much for sharing.
