My friend, April, from A Modern Teacher blog, has created a pretty cool new site called Classroom Celebrations!
She emailed me a while back and told me about this great idea and wanted to know what I thought about it. I had to laugh because April and I are always on the same page about everything! Do you remember my Gingerbread Party from last Christmas or my Thanksgiving Party Unit? Well, I knew that someone out there needed to address all of the parties and celebrations that teachers are expected to create and I was going to be THE ONE to do it!
Unfortunately, I bit off more than I could chew and abandoned the concept to concentrate solely on classroom décor. So, when April said that she was going to create this awesome new site, I was cheering her on…”GO, APRIL, GO! GO, APRIL, GO! This is something that she HAD to do! Teachers need this!
In true “April Style",” she whipped up her website and started working away! She has so many great ideas for parties and different classroom celebrations throughout the school year – it will make your life SOOOOO much easier! Consider April your very own personal party planner!
If you stop by today, you will notice her great ideas she planned for Grandparents Day. She has also linked to some great FREEBIES for you to use!
Make sure you stop by her site to pick up your own copy!
