Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! I feel the excitement in my classroom when I change the calendar from September to October – my students know that Halloween is almost here! We start the countdown for this fun-filled day by painting pumpkins, reading Halloween books, visiting the Cider Mill, writing about our Halloween costumes, and so much more…all in preparation for the very last day of October…Halloween!

Halloween doesn’t need to be scary, especially for the little ones. Using the traditional black and orange in your decorations, but pairing it with a bright lime green and purple gives your Halloween party an updated and child-friendly look! Using funny pumpkins, polka dots, and glittery cats…plus yummy cupcakes, caramel apples, cider donuts, and candy makes for a super cute and fun party!

Check back tomorrow for another Halloween Party idea! Tomorrow’s room is a completely different look staged in my formal dining room. I can’t wait to show you! See you tomorrow night!
